| - Kiss Me so. i have been absent for not a short time. its
been quite a ride. well..school ended, summer started. i was very much
the indolent couch potato for
some time. yeah, summer was getting pretty boring, so sure, there were
the parties, and sleepovers, and stuff..but...i donno...i spent more
time with my brother - that was an adventure.
school started, i started school -->3 APs and other stuff...im also doing Jazz Ensemble - not band, its a jazz singing group after school. and im planning to try out for the badminton team.
- Thanksgiving at the Wongs', saw the family, watched movies with the cousins.
- Christmas was fun. my brother came back, Linda was here, got an iPod.
- saw Kristen, New Years came...made resolutions, got a journal.
- got through finals last week. had half days...
- watched the Super Bowl XL, cheered when the Steelers
won. commercials werent that great.. did anyone see that hummer
commercial? that was weird. oh and the "go daddy go" one. very odd. and "code: black"?

.??. so its my birthday in two days. im happy. i'll be sixteen. another year older. major. i wonder when i'll get to that point where i'll start to say, "oh no, its my birthday tomorrow"

| hm well sunday was Mother's Day...
i think that's pretty cool. we should appreciate our mothers. alright,
so i get angry at my own mother a bunch...but i do believe she means
the best for me, even if it doesnt always turn out well.
celebratory dinner::
so saturday, the whole shum family went out to dinner to honor our
grandmother...hmm..i gave her these adorable 4 inch roses. 
and some dried apricots...and at the restaurant, the children got moved
to another table, so..my three cousins and i moved elsewhere and we
ordered 8 dishes...ermm...hehe...since emily is ...8..she dint eat
much, and my other cousin, although 22..he barely ate anything, so
...that left me and helena 19...to eat..well...8 plates of food
generally made for 4 adult people. it was hilarious though.
we tortured
our youngest cousin with nail polish, with her calling it "evil"...and
laughed over the sign, "for party of 100 or more we appreciate 20%
gratitude" HAHA! so that would mean out of 100 people, 20 people should
say thank you...lol. cracks me up just to think of it...mmm. the food
wasnt that great...it was horrible, cuz we were hungry, and the parents
table was getting food..and we were just waiting....and they finally
realized we were with the other table when someone spoke up..and they
started giving us our dishes. i swear, they probly thought we couldnt
pay for all we ordered...which is true.  but still. we got so full...:D
it was pretty sad, me an helena were telling my cousin she
couldnt have pepsi...so....helena took the can, it was one of those
fridgepack minis...and then gave it to me to keep out of her
reach...and so i held it under the table..and i thought i'd set it in
my lap..and i turned the can upside down, imagine my utter shock when i had liquid pouring down from the can onto my thighs...and man...it was cold. thankfully i was wearing black i
dont even want to think about what it would have looked like if i had
not been wearing black...ah well. the rest of the night was
fun...listened to ringtones and played with glass cups...i love doing
that..
hhmm....and sunday was pretty cool...we had a great motivational
speaker Dr. Lim. and she was speaking about the importance of nurturing
our children to love and love them..very inspirational....and then had
some fun with the kids...and we have a new youth! err..besides two
other new youths from hong kong....so thats cool.
alrighty then...enough about the weekend, this coming week is gonna be
interesting with Star tests coming...and hmm...i donno what else....im
glad its nearly halfway through the week.
ah. today i had a cool piano lesson, i'm using a melody and matching a
new left hand variation to it :D its so awesome...cant wait to move on
to other songs...or even compose a few of my own...
anyhoo. the time has come to study for a biology test tomorrow...

| wow. my week has been really great so far...
sunday, we had two newcomers who supposedly speak only in either of the two chinese dialects....but then..on
monday, i went to the Big 5 store..and im pretty sure i saw these two guys with their mom and dad..ah..i dint recognise the guy at first...but i figured out how he looked so familiar..and i was so surprised that i dint say hi...so then i was embarrassed that i hadnt said hi the first time around....and so i tried to not get in their way....how coincidental, they were lookin at shoes too..but they both have such new shoes...so...?
tuesday was cool...pretty harrowing, i was trying to finish all my hmwk. and i just got mad at the hmwk..lol. haha christina is my exsoulmate. naww....but that was a cool afterschool thing goin on. good times with the asian ladiez.
and today..well. it was both short and long, i dont know if i can explain furthermore..but i was anxious for the day to end, so it was longer, and yet it was short, cuz here i am now, typing away...thinkin how long ago it seems that i was at school... haha, me an may(Maryam) went to the gas station to get ice creamy stuff. it was a hot day...for once, even by the coast. | | |
| there is something to be said about shopping being a mood swinger. if the clothes are great and look nice, instantly a happy mood..ah, but if the clothes arent that great in any store, and they dont particularly look nice on you...geez...you are one pissed off person.
yeah. i get like that. grumpy. if i dint like any clothes in particular, or they dint fit me, or they just dint look good.
hmm..but ya know, once in a while, on a whim, i love going shopping cuz its great fun...trying on all kinds of clothes....hehe. or buying something needed...and all that.
i should buy a new sweater. sweaters are so greatly comfortable...yeah...i think i've outgrown the volcom sweater, that is such a sad thought though, since i've had it for well..a couple of years, and have broken it in...mmm..
ah well. this weekend was fun...friday night was youth group, and we had "visitors" kind of..and had a huge question and answer. mainly one person asking questions and one guy answering. then saturday...an outing with my mother. ohh man. that took nearly the whole day..kind of. well...i slept in...watched tv, a movie..and then went out with my mommy...and then we watched jerry maguire! lol. that is pretty good...i was disappointed in tom cruise, but then he made it up to renee..so that was cool. mm...then sunday...it had been ben's birthday...so auntie noel had gotten him a coffee cake, and coffee or milk tea boba...and doughnuts..and i dont know, what else? a bunch of coffee...which was interesting to see what it did to kelly. hahaha..ah yeah, thats it..
today was ...cool. ish..i donno. we ran the mile in PE..and my hip started hurting ever since i walked to 2nd period..and i was walking incredibly strangely. lol. and erm...so biology. haha..decker was teaching about male and female genitalia. hm..yeah. with uh..hand motions.. very questionable.
hm..and math was just boring as ever..ever since seat changes..well..zac got a referral..hm..english was uhh...interesting as well. watched romeo and juliet. but..man. they really zoomed up at juliet's boobs..sheesh. have some propriety, that corset was way too tight, and she and romeo were just like groping at each other...?!?
...french was uneventful, if it werent fer the funny laughs at bowland's jokes..along with benoits sarcasm, i would just ..gah. die in that class...history was pretty cool actually. watched a movie..hm..come to think of it, i like history...its just the teachers have all been boring ..but mika is really cool. haha..i may not look like im paying attention..but i am.
oh man though, today, i just couldnt get it out of my head that some people at my school are pretentious, its just annoying to me. i wish people would just be frank with each other and really say what they mean...but no..society and people will never change, i've given up hope..
